CloudLocker requires Accessibility, Device Admin, and Overlay permissions, which most phones have. Some Androids have been stripped of these functions. See HERE for more info.

Go to CloudLocker > Request Unblock, select the app and continue to send us an email with the app and device ID.

Contact us for a recovery code and then go to CloudLocker > Settings > Remove AppLocker. You will be prompted for the code to complete removal.

Most apps such as Accountable2You and EverAccountable work with CloudLocker. *CloudLocker VPN does not support usage of their VPN feature.

Currently we have only one setting available for browsing in Chrome / Blue. But CloudLocker comes with many configuration options, two are suggested below:

1.Choose VPN and install with Youth Settings. 

2. Install the Global Proxy. Device Owner required if not Samsung.

Contact us to remove Chrome / browsing if necessary. Android Family Link offers additional features, more details coming.

CloudLocker uses the Play Store categories and ratings to block apps. This takes care of most inappropriate apps, however it’s recommended to use the Youth setting which quarantines ALL newly download apps until they are unlocked with the pass code in CloudLocker.

CloudLocker VPN is required to filter open internet access within Google Maps.

Android: The YouTube app can be requested in CloudLocker > Request Unblock. The safest way to use the YouTube app is with CloudLocker VPN, which removes the adult content.

Apple iOS: Global iOS blocks YouTube, however you can request that it be unblocked.

The Blue browser: does not block apps. Apps are controlled via age restrictions settings or via parental control whitelist. CloudVeil Blue install instructions show you how to block the YouTube app, which is recommended for most users.

You may get this error message after installing CloudLocker VPN or Global. Reason: The CloudVeil certificate needs to be installed. You can download them here and install them. It doesn't matter what they are named, they just need to be installed. NOTE: A device lock screen needs to be set in order to install and access certificates (credential store). *CloudLocker VPN is attempting to monitor the internet traffic so it can be filtered. Your device will reject the connection until the certificates are installed, as they provide proof that this traffic inspection is authorized by the user. Android 11 requires certificates to be installed manually from Settings.

2. Samsung: Open Device Settings > Biometrics and security > Other security settings > Install from device storage. Pixel: Open Device Settings > Security > Encryption & credentials > Install a certificate.
3. Choose the CA certificate.
4. Hit the Install anyway button on the warning that pops up.
5. Verify your identity with your password, pattern, or fingerprint.
6. Go to Downloads.
7. Select the certificate you downloaded and hit done.

Most of like to have our devices as free of clutter as possible. Unfortunately, Android has decided not to allow the user to hide VPN connection notices. Since CloudLocker VPN obviously requires a VPN, this notification is a necessary evil. However, it's possible to minimize this notification to half the size on most devices, as well as keeping it at the bottom.

1. Pull down your notification screen from the top by swiping.
2. Press and hold on the VPN notification. (you might see a minimize button right here too)
3. Press Details.
4. Press VPN status.
5. Press notification style.
6. Change to Silent & Minimized.

We endeavor to filter apps to accommodate business needs and other constructive uses of the Internet in accordance with conference decisions. This would limit game apps to simple mind games, board/card games and educational. Sometimes apps initially get missed by our rating engine and slip by for a while, and sometimes they are rated incorrectly.
