There is an automatic 15% discount applied on orders of 3+ filters.

How do I change my credit card?

How do I search images?

Accepted Answer

Google and Bing Image Search are difficult to filter, but we do have a few other options. These websites should work in all our browsers:

How do I fix "Your connection is not private" message on Android?

Accepted Answer

You may get this error message after installing CloudLocker VPN or Global.

Reason: The CloudVeil certificate needs to be installed. You can download them here and install them. It doesn't matter what they are named, they just need to be installed.

NOTE: A device lock screen needs to be set in order to install and access certificates (credential store).

*CloudLocker VPN is attempting to monitor the internet traffic so it can be filtered. Your device will reject the connection until the certificates are installed, as they provide proof that this traffic inspection is authorized by the user.

Android 11 requires certificates to be installed manually from Settings.

 	Samsung: Open Device Settings > Biometrics and security > Other security settings > Install from device storage.
Pixel: Open Device Settings > Security > Encryption & credentials > Install a certificate.
 	Choose the CA certificate.
 	Hit the Install anyway button on the warning that pops up.
 	Verify your identity with your password, pattern, or fingerprint.
 	Go to Downloads.
 	Select the certificate you downloaded and hit done.

Can I hide the VPN IS RUNNING notification?

Most of like to have our devices as free of clutter as possible. Unfortunately, Android has decided not to allow the user to hide VPN connection notices. Since CloudLocker VPN obviously requires a VPN, this notification is a necessary evil. However, it's possible to minimize this notification to half the size on most devices, as well as keeping it at the bottom.

 	Pull down your notification screen from the top by swiping.
 	Press and hold on the VPN notification. (you might see a minimize button right here too)
 	Press Details.
 	Press VPN status.
 	Press notification style.
 	Change to Silent & Minimized.

Will my flashlight work if the camera is blocked by CloudLocker?

Some flashlights won't work if the camera is blocked. Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devuni.flashlight or you can contact us about adding your favorite flashlight app to our exemption list.

You may request an unblock for a specific app from within CloudLocker. Please note that apps from some categories are not available for unlock due to CloudVeil policy.

 

Adult App Settings: Subject to the above ratings, all newly downloaded apps are unlocked after install.

Youth App Settings: All newly downloaded apps are locked. If apps pass the above category rating, they can be unblocked with your CloudLocker security code.

Does CloudLocker block games?

We endeavor to filter apps to accommodate business needs and other constructive uses of the Internet in accordance with conference decisions. This would limit game apps to simple mind games, board/card games and educational. Sometimes apps initially get missed by our rating engine and slip by for a while, and sometimes they are rated incorrectly.

Is CloudLocker Compatible with all Androids?

Accepted Answer

CloudLocker requires Accessibility, Device Admin, and Overlay permissions, which most phones have. Some Androids have been stripped of these functions. See HERE for more info.

Question 20

App is "blocked by CloudLocker" how can I unblock?

Accepted Answer

Go to CloudLocker > Request Unblock, select the app and continue to send us an email with the app and device ID.

Question 21

How do I uninstall CloudLocker?

Accepted Answer

Contact us for a recovery code and then go to CloudLocker > Settings > Remove AppLocker. You will be prompted for the code to complete removal.

Can I use Accountability Apps?

Accepted Answer

Most apps such as Accountable2You and EverAccountable work with CloudLocker. *CloudLocker VPN does not support usage of their VPN feature.

What is the most secure option?

Currently we have only one setting available for browsing in Chrome / Blue. But CloudLocker comes with many configuration options, two are suggested below:

1.Choose VPN and install with Youth Settings.

2. Install the Global Proxy. Device Owner required if not Samsung.

Contact us to remove Chrome / browsing if necessary. Android Family Link offers additional features, more details coming.

Are all bad apps blocked?

CloudLocker uses the Play Store categories and ratings to block apps. This takes care of most inappropriate apps, however it’s recommended to use the Youth setting which quarantines ALL newly download apps until they are unlocked with the pass code in CloudLocker.

CloudLocker VPN is required to filter open internet access within Google Maps.

Can I use YouTube

Android: The YouTube app can be requested in CloudLocker > Request Unblock. The safest way to use the YouTube app is with CloudLocker VPN, which removes the adult content.

Apple iOS: Global iOS blocks YouTube, however you can request that it be unblocked.
The Blue browser: does not block apps. Apps are controlled via age restrictions settings or via parental control whitelist. CloudVeil Blue install instructions show you how to block the YouTube app, which is recommended for most users.

Which apps can CloudVeil block on my iPad or iPhone?

Global iOS is able to block any apps on your device, however each one needs to be added by CloudVeil Support.

Default: Only apps in the blacklist are blocked. Most apps are filtered.

Strict: Only specified apps will be allowed for basic phone usage.

*The Blue browser does not block apps. Apps are controlled via age restrictions settings or via parental control whitelist. More details coming.

Can I use ScreenTime on my iPad or iPhone?

Yes! We strongly recommend becoming familiar with and using the built in parental controls. We plan to publish a more in-depth tutorial on this.

How do I uninstall CloudVeil from my iPhone or iPad?

Accepted Answer

To remove CloudVeil Blue, simply uninstall the CloudVeil app.

To remove Global, contact CloudVeil Support.

How do I uninstall CloudVeil for Windows?

Open the CloudVeil app
 	Go to the Advanced Tab.
 	Press the Deactivate button
 	Check your email and reply to the automated deactivation email with your contact info. CloudVeil Support will review and approve the request.
 	Check your email. After receiving the confirmation email, press the Advanced > Deactivate button again. CloudVeil will close down.
 	CloudVeil is now disabled. You can uninstall it from your Settings > Apps menu, or it can be reactivated by restarting your computer OR by opening the CloudVeil app icon on your desktop or Start Menu.

Can I use YouTube? (relaxed policy)

Relaxed Policy is a feature on CloudVeil for Windows & macOS allowing you to temporarily allow YouTube and other video sites for constructive purposes. By default, the duration and quantity of relaxed time periods is 3 times a day for 15 minutes, however this can be adjusted, and also password protected.

Relaxed Policy can be activated within the CloudVeil App > Relaxed Policy, or on a YouTube block page.

How do I install CloudVeil for Windows?

Once you have purchased CloudVeil for Windows, you should receive an email with download information. You can also find the install info on the My Filters page in My Account.

 	Purchase CloudVeil for Windows.
 	Download the setup file from the email link, or from My Filters page.
 	Open the downloaded file and follow the setup prompts.
 	Sign into the CloudVeil App using your account email address, and the password provided. (not your account password).
 	Open the CloudVeil App > Filter Tests and run a test to ensure the filter is working.

How can I fix my broken internet after installing CloudVeil?

Problem:

 	No internet after installing CloudVeil for Windows. Web pages fail to load, timeout, etc.
 	The "Internet" indicator at the top of the CV4W app shows an active connection with a checkmark.
 	Other devices connected to the same network have internet access.

Solution:

 	Check for and remove any old filters that may be installed.
 	Check the antivirus compatibility FAQ and uninstall any incompatible antivirus programs.
 	Reboot the computer and try accessing the internet again.

What is router filtering?

Your router is the piece of network hardware that allows communication between your local home network—like your personal computers and tablets—and the internet.

Your router is configured to query DNS servers to find out where to locate websites on the world wide web. Inserting CloudVeil's DNS servers into your router (instead of the default) will result in basic web filtering of your entire network. Better yet, you can order a router and Wi-Fi kit from CloudVeil that's preconfigured, and more difficult to bypass.

How do I configure CloudVeil DNS on my own router?

Accepted Answer

Purchase a DNS filtering subscription.
 	Log into your local router's admin webpage. Click for Details.
 	Set your WAN DNS to to the CloudVeil primary and secondary DNS addresses you received from CloudVeil Support.
 	Create a firewall rule to forward all port 53 requests to CloudVeil DNS servers, OR a firewall rule to block all other DNS requests. The latter is the most common, but the former is preferred and is how the CloudVeil Router System works.
 	On an unfiltered device, visit 777.com and ensure the site is blocked by CloudVeil.

Which routers are supported?
